Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) is set to host Dubai Future Week, a groundbreaking event scheduled from November 18 to 21, 2026, at Emirates Towers and the Museum of the Future. A highlight of this event is ‘The Challenge’, which seeks to draw global talent in artificial intelligence, robotics, and emerging technologies.
Focus on Future Technologies
Under the theme ‘For the Human of the Future’, Dubai Future Week will gather over 10,000 participants, including experts from cutting-edge sectors, to explore the capabilities and applications of future technologies. The event aims to emphasize the role of talent in shaping the future, transforming theoretical knowledge into practical, real-world applications.
Interactive Competitions
Central to the event is ‘The Challenge’, featuring interactive competitions designed to evaluate technical skills, creativity, and innovative thinking. Participants will engage with AI, robotics, biotechnology, and advanced computing, focusing on how these technologies can address global challenges, enhance opportunities, and improve quality of life.
AED1 Million Prize for AI Excellence
The AI Grandmaster competition, a focal point of The Challenge, returns for its third iteration. It follows the success of the 2025 Global Prompt Engineering Championship, which attracted over 3,800 applicants from 125 countries. Finalists will showcase their prowess in generative AI by crafting precise prompts to generate unique content within constrained timeframes. The ultimate winner will be awarded an impressive AED1 million.
Robotics in the Spotlight
In addition to AI, the Emirates Robotics Competition will also be a major highlight. Organized in collaboration with Dubai Future Labs and several academic institutions, this competition will task university teams with developing robotic solutions that assist the library sector. Participants will be challenged to innovate and create prototypes that address real-world needs within the industry.
A Multidimensional Exploration
The Challenge is part of the ‘How We’ll Innovate’ track, one of five thematic tracks during Dubai Future Week. This track will delve into areas such as robotics, algorithms, AI applications, quantum computing, synthetic biology, materials science, and space exploration. Participants will engage in research, development, and automation, further broadening the scope of innovation.
Eight Core Concepts
Dubai Future Week will be structured around eight main concepts: The Big Stage, The Prototype Floor, The Pitch, The Policy Room, The Challenge, Offstage, 500 Future Minds, and The District. These platforms will host keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, exhibitions, and exclusive meetings, offering a comprehensive exploration of future-focused experiences across the city.
Through these diverse activities, Dubai aims to position itself as a global hub for innovation, fostering collaboration among international experts and emerging talent. The event promises to be an incubator for ideas that will shape the societies of tomorrow, showcasing Dubai’s commitment to being at the forefront of technological advancement.
